Yes, go for the Skyray king, the TR3T6 is underdriven.
Advantages for the king: around 2200 lumens, uses 4 batteries, compact (also a con due to heatsinking).
Advantages for 3T6: None.
But you can mod the 3t6 to the same output, but have less runtime. Also 3t6 has better heatsinking.
Lights like the TR-3T6 look ridiculous in my opinion. It might be a somewhat unpopular thing to say since I know that many people around here own and love such lights, but to me they just look like something you should be swinging at someone’s head, or an incoming fast ball, or something (not that I have any desire to swing things at people’s heads, generally speaking).
Ultimately, I think the Sky Ray King has a more practical and aesthetically pleasing form factor, and I haven’t found heat to be a big issue so far.
My X6 weighs as much as your average hammer. :D

You know, after my little rant such lights started to appeal to me in a sort of comical sense. Briefly at least 
Definitely the King. My stock King pushes 2300 OTF lumens while my modded TR-3T6 still only pushes under 2000 OTF lumens. Add in the compact size of the King and it lives up to its name.
With the tube extension the 3t6 dors indeed look ridiculous.
The X6 is massive, but the heatsink isnt all uniform which is aesthetically appealing to me. Plus the fact that its a total beast once modded :bigsmile:
The biggest difference is the form factor. the 3t6 is longer and thinner with 2 cells or optional 3. The output difference is negligible.
