Hi guys i’m looking at putting another light together and this time i want to do i sst-sbt 90 version, Now i know the difference between the 2 but i’m a little confused with binning and brightness.
so basically what i’m after is the brightest sst90 or sbt 90 available in a 5700k temp.
i’ve seen there is a P bin for the sst 90 but i can’t find it for sale does it even exist yet ?
Also it seems to me that the SBT-90 isn’t as powerful as the SST-90 is that correct ?

Supposedly Olight bought all the high bin SST-90 and SBT-90 for their lights.
As for the brightness difference, something about the lumen extraction with and without the dome makes the SBT-90 dimmer. I think it is because less light hits the air interface at a 90 degree angle, so there is more internal reflection.
You can find "N" bin from Mouser, but I don't know if they ship to the UK, or how much the shipping would be. Olight didn't buy all of the highest bins, they would have contracted for the ones they wanted, but Luminus wouldn't be stupid enough to agree to not run any more SST-90 or SBT-90, just so Olight had them all.
