Hi, I need help on this torch as in this link Review: TrustFire R5-A3 XP-G R5 1xAA 3-mode i need to find some batteries that last longer than 5min than my current batteries which are “UltraFire AX 14500 1200mAh 3.7v Li-ion” or a replacement torch same size…

THose batteries you have are about the worst. Try these instead: TF Flames

How much longer will they last roughly ? and does it matter that the ones in the link are 900mAh compared to my current 1200mAh ? sorry if this is a daft question i know nothing about batteries lol :~

Those are nice batteries and would last alot longer then 5 minutes.

TF Flames are what I use in my R5-A3. They are fine.

Definitely go with the Trustfires; I have a pair of these and they will work much better for you. I use them in my C3 and SK68 with no issues...

I just noticed they are cheaper from DX, and the reviews are good there; I assume you wouldn't be gettings fakes from there either...

Can anyone recommend a better torch the same size and rechargeable and if possible more powerful light ?

If thats this one i think it might be too big to have in the pocket at all times compared to the FireTrust R5-A3 :frowning:

It’s only 2cm longer and about the same diameter than R5-A3.

BUT it uses 18650 cell, which has about 3x the power of good 14500 (which is about 15x the bad 14500 you have)

Acording to eBay listing its 15cm long and my current one is about 7 - 8 cm long…

The R5-A3 is almost 10cm. See here.

UF2100 is about 12cm, R5-A3 is 10cm. Diameter differs about 2mm.

Just buy it, preferably from E1320 (= with better driver).

In the meanwhile you could also buy a good 14500, which should give you about half an hour runtime with R5-A3 on high.
