WTB: Ultrafire/Zebralight headlamp

It does not come with a headstrap. This is the one I bought to go with it:

It works as well as I can expect a headstrap without an over the head band to work.

I like the Z2 because it throws better than other budget angle lights I've seen, and it's very light and compact. It's coming with me on my next long distance backpacking trip...where keeping weight down is a big deal.

Thanks I’ll definitely give it another look then, can never have to many options! I wonder if someone sells an over the top strap that would work?

If there was an over the head strap, it would need a firmer mount/base for the light. The advantage would be allowing the light to be rotated more easily with one hand.

Unless you need to be able to adjust it quickly and easily with one hand, I think the Ultrafire strap is sufficient.

It works as well as I can expect a headstrap without an over the head band to work.

That holder works okay, but the elastic is kind of weak and the one I received had a strong rubber smell which never went away.

I've tried a few different holders and the one I like the most is the Nite Ize. It's the most stable one.

It definitely feels weak, but the Z2 is light enough that it doesn't seem to matter. I haven't noticed the smell.

i have one of these in black and yellow print ....and although it looks 400times better than the silly blue and yellow ,it still looks stupid .i love old nitecore lights .. but their headbands are ugly as hell . Only wear it under your car or on a mountain alone

Trustfire Headlamps and maglite are more popular at the moment ,such as these two models :Trustfire 3*T6 and MJ ,this brand Flood to throw is also ok .
