26650 light
Hey, has anybody looked at this? http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1058 I've been interested in the 26650 batteries since the maelstrom s12 came out, and this one has the advantage of the option of one or two. It seems like the XML needs a bit more power than one battery can give to sustain full brightness. Maybe this would do it. It's getting up there in price, but compared to the olight m3x or the catapult, is pretty cheap. I really want to get a 4sevens XML light when they come out, but maybe I could get this instead. I've just had a few Chinese lights die on me so I get nervous if the price creeps up. I guess I could always replace the driver if it's no good Any opinions?

I have to agree. The price is kinda steep considering these lights are somewhat of a crap shoot but it does look tempting.

I like it also and it is expensive but hey--it doubles as a mace or baseball bat.

I can't make myself pull the trigger. I'm so desperate for a 26650 light though, I'm looking at the romisen 3X AAA on dealextreme: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/romisen-rc-u8-cree-xp-er5-3-mode-350-lumen-...

but it would require a bit of modding to be satisfactory.

Yes, the 4Sevens. Sorry to the OP for hijacking the thread and I agree that the price point is kinda "iffy."

i thought this came with batteries lol , if it came with batteries and dual charger ...

pending reviews of contruction and no flashy modes i'd say $65 with the above is what i would consider decent

ALTHOUGH $65 bucks twards a triple XML build , even a single with 26650 batteries and charger maybe a mag host ...
