I know some of you are familiar with the xkcd cartoons, but I just realized that there are new physics essays every Tuesday with the same combination of humor and science as the cartoons. I gather it has been going on for about 16 weeks. Just click the “What If?” in the upper right.
Anyway, just thought that at least a few of you might find that interesting given our prior talks about the cartoons.
Yeah, I love the “what if” section, one of the first episodes I read was “what if you throw a baseball at a speed faster than the light?” or something like that, a true classic imho.
