I have a skyray king on order (only multiple emitter torch so far)
I see these 5, 7, 9 emitter torches, i’m interested in knowing which one is the best bang for the buck
I’m guessing most of the 9xml are going to be ruled out, too many emitters to allow a deep reflector and proper heatsinking.
I guess that I’m mostly interested in a properly driven and heatsinked 5 or 7 emitter torch. I want this for multiple emitter wow factor.
It needs to be at least 5 preferrably 7 emitter. if there is actually a 9 emitter with a big enough head to allow deep reflectors (more throw than flood) and proper heatsinking, without paying hundreds of dollars, let me know.
it would be great if the light cam properly driven, but if everything about the light is good, just lacking a proper driver, I could always replace the driver with something better (permitting the light housing wouldn’t require much modification to accept a better driver)
It can run 18650 or 26650, doesn’t matter to me. If i did offer a preference, i would prefer if it ran the thicker 26650 size, because it makes the light look more proportionate, compared to a toilet pluger big head, small body when running 18650. But ultimately, i don’t care that much which battery the light will run
I’d like to not spend more than $125 but prefer <$100 if possible (budget)
