Which bike light from CNQualityGoods??

Looking at picking up a 4x18650 bike light from CNQualityGoods (I like the fact that for a few extra bucks you can get DHL shipping to Canada, which I assume arrives within a week?).

Light will be used for trail riding, and either mounted on the bars or on the helmet (probably have to custom make a mount for helmet, fine with that). Don’t need super long run time (2 hours max is fine).

So which light is recommended?

Thanks guys.

Tim

Hmm… looks like the Magicshine Clone is Euro plug only…

Helped a workmate to buy a Shadow BL-21, ok its only 3*18650 but has a really nice and powerful beam.

The light itself looks and feels really well built, batterypack feels pretty standard.

+1

Very good quality light, long runtime. Not the brightest out there by any means, but certainly good enough for most rides with a nice floody and far reaching beam. Supplemented with a P60 SMO thrower on the bars or helmet, it's perfect. BL-21 has become the go to light for many of my cycling friends.

I have the Sky Ray S6 on the way, right now stuck in customs hell - ISC NY - for last 9 days.

Not trying to avoid your question about the vendor that you mentioned but I would just like to recommend a possible alternative source for a very good bike light. I recently purchased a Xeccon bar mounted light for trail riding purposes. In addition, I also picked up a UF 501B that I have mounted on a spare helmet. The combination of the two lights is perfect for my trail riding needs.

I live in the US and wanted to buy from a company that offered a warranty on both the light and the batteries (4x18650’s).

You can review their products at: Mountain Bike Revolution. Products are shipped throughout the world and recently MTBREV was offering free shipping. Not sure if this is still in effect or not.

ndoughb, welcome to BLF. We've heard of Xeccon lights here, but IMO they do not have that great a reputation. Things might have changed in the last year, but at one time they were avoided and considered spammers over at mtbrforums. Mountain Bike Revolution may be a different story. The prices are kind of high for what you can get direct from China through CNQG/FF, IOS or various other reputable sites. I suspect the higher prices MBR is quoting take the added warranty into account, plus reseller markup. Anyway, the first light listed, single XM-L U2 Spiker is pretty much a Magicshine clone. Same or similar light from CNQG is $45. By all means if warranty is important to you, pay more, but MBR is an Australian reseller - don't expect your warranty to be free - they will probably charge you for shipping back, which will probably cost you more than $45. Just sayin'....

You have other US options if warranty is important to you.
