BLF Site-related Issues

Hi everyone,

The good news is that BLF traffic is really high this week.
The bad news is that BLF traffic is really high this week.
:wink:

Due to the heavy traffic, you’ll probably notice quite a few temporary offline messages today. On Monday the 29th of October I hope to make some major configuration changes on the backend to alleviate the load on the database. Meanwhile, thanks to everyone for their patience!

My apologies for the annoyances.

So what are you thoughts when you can't get BLF to load:

1) Oh well, I'll check in later, no big deal.

Today was the first day that I have had an issue getting to the site…. mostly due to my odd hours I suppose (on at 3:00am CST)!

Thank you for fixing it and I am glad we are having an influx of traffic and new members (myself included!)

And Garry,
When I can’t get on to the site I either A) check the voltage of some batteries and charge accordingly, or B) tear open an old laptop battery pack! Doing either one of these 9 times out of ten take up enough time for me to access the community! The only problem is my batteries are full and I have no more laptop packs……

I just set my computer to refresh every 5 seconds and stare at the screen until it comes up. :D Probably not the best thing to do when we're already having server problems though...
