How are our users doing in New Zealand?

Hey everyone,

Any of our users from New Zealand online? Anyone affected by the quake?

Our condolences go out to everyone there. Be careful!

I've been watching this on the news.

Our thoughts and prayers to our friends and to the people of New Zealand.

Christchurch is my home town - thank goodness all my (many) relatives are ok.  This looks like a bad one, all right.

Cheers

I don't watch news at all. Makes me sad more often than not. They say ignorance is bliss.

I was considering to actually move to NZ with my wife. I checked the laws and the climate in NZ and so far it seems a really nice place to live in. Sorry to hear about that earthquake.

I think i would have probably great troubles to find work in a computer shop for which i am the most qualified for. Also don't know how native NZ population like new legal immigrants. I belive it would not be easy at all.

So i stashed the idea to fully commit to that radical change in life. But still tickles me from time to time...

I really must go to NZ for a vacation one day but i fear i would not want to go back.

I was planning to visit NZ South Island in May this year, after much thought(insentivity), I will still visit. It is the least I can do to support the country and community.
