Thanks for the information. I really like the tint of the 2B in the xpg2. Might be my favorite so far in my tint adventures

This is very interesting seeing a new tint of the U2. Hank - any possibility you will be getting in the U4's soon? cutter.com.au is listing them for purchase, but not sure of the tints they are offering. Thanks!

I think you refer to the XM-L EZW U4 the one with 4 dies. Those are working from 5.7V to 7V or 11.5V to 14V.

Ahhh, ok. What is the voltage outputs of the flashlight drivers and voltage inputs of the flashlight emitters? I don't see that defined anywhere for the drivers (output) or LED emitter boards (input), at least on the I-O website.

Still, those 4 die boards look like they may be interesting in a light .

What do you guys say about 1C tinted U3 LEDs? Much better than 1A, or just cool cool white?

I have a U2 1C and it has more yellow in the beam, where as the 1A has more blue. Dont know if that helps but thats the only way I could think of explaining it.

Edit - I like the 1c better then the 1a but the 2c is better then both of them in my opinion.

2C or 2D would be awesome, I probably going to order the 2B just to try it out. Any U3’s 2B, 2C, or 2D in the works?

I’d love to source some 2D, 3A, and 3D tint XM-Ls mounted on PCBs. I’d love to compare them to 3C, the ubiquitous neutral XM-L tint option.

Looks like they have lowered the price on few of there LED’s. Now they are lower than FancyFlashlights.
