I got the Crelant 7G2CS from IOS. I really like it. Well-made, good anodizing, side clicky works as it should. At a reduced price now :wink:

Is it ok, if you can change the mode with the side clicky (switch it on with tail clicky)?

For me, as a Maglite guy when I was young, the most natural position for a flashlight switch is a side-clicky. In that regard the lights that I own with this type of switch are the ZL SC600, Fenix TK41/70 and the Shadow JM26.

Does size or type of light matter?

How about dual switches or is it just a side switch only?

I like the look of some of the new Klarus RS lights. And the Olight Baton looks interesting too.

I've always been a fan of the side clicky but does anyone else feel like a AA or smaller side clicky just feels odd ??

Nope, size or type doesn’t matter. I’ve got the flashlight bug now (curse you all) and everything I’ve bought so far has a tail clicky or twist on. I just start looking up every light you guys list and pick and choose from that. As a newbie, the amount and quality of info you guys provide is insane.

At the less expensive end the Romisen P3 is pretty good 2AA. Throwy for thin light. Very practical.
