hi everybody, been lurking here and at cpf ( i know, i know, but a few people there have some good knowledge). BLF is the place to join to freely speak your mind and learn a lot too. in the early 1980’s when i was an M.P. in the army of course all we had to carry was a 3 or 4 cell mag light, which for its time was, well, all there really was and like most of us older guys, we all had one that we used for most tasks till the led lights came about. my first led lights that i bought about 2 years ago, is 2 lumapower trust model 2’s, night stand lights for me and the wife and 2 itp sc2’s, our edc’s. ii have been happy with them, although i bought them at battery juction and fell for their trustfire 3000mah batteries and a wf-139 charger. for the past year, i have been looking for 2 stronger lights for us. at the moment i am looking at the XinTD c8 v3 in the neutral white 3-mode for the wife and the fandyfire stl-v6, modded by saablaster for me, which, at my price border of budget lights, i dont think can be beat for throw with some spill lights? if i am missing a better light under $100 dollars, please let me know. also waiting for the upcoming Xtar charger with lcd readout. any info on what the charger is all about? any some new pan. ncr18650b 3400’s. Glad i finally joined, hyperion beam a.k.a. gary
