anyone that knows their way around a BC-700: how do i get a measurement of capacity and voltage of battery without going through a charge cycle? i can't seem to find the button combination to just get it to show that info. the thing just wants to start charging after the 8 seconds expire. thanks!
I know this is an old thread.. but here goes.. You have to go through a full discharge cycle to test capacity. The last mode is a test mode. It will charge the battery fully, then discharge it, then charge it back up fully again. when it's done it will display the mah capacity of the battery. Voltage you can get a reading instantly just by hitting the middle button until Voltage shows up.
