I happened to be watching Shaquilles downloads when it hit me. I’m using IE. It happened as the pics came down…dunno

different threads over the last several weeks on this site (firefox)
Between firewalls (hard and software), browser and av, I just click through and read the thread (YMMV)
im on PC running Firefox and im not getting that, however, the site is up and down. I keep getting the “DRUPAL” This webpage is not available” error intermittently.
On that particular thread in the OP, post #59 Shaquille is using a image sharing site to host his picture. That particular website is probably known for having malware on its main site, but cannot infect your computer by simply viewing the pictures he posted. However, if you click on the picture from that post #59. youll get the “Attack site” error.
I’m using Safari. I switched to Chrome, and got nothing. Maybe it’s the ipad. I’ll go try it on my iMac and see if anything happens.
Just checked again and I'm still getting the alert
some will continue to get that message as long as post #59 on that thread is hosting the image on freeimagehosting.net. nothing harmful though, unless you click the actual picture. but still at little risk as any browser wont let you goto freeimagehosting.net
Oops. Sorry. I realized I don’t have Chrome on my iMac, and didn’t feel like downloading it.

Right, I thought it happened just when loading pics before trying to click them.
Doesn’t help us “volunteer” troubleshooters unless you please give us some info on your platform

Ok… now I see what you guys are referring to (sorry for a bit of doubt but that’s not a viral site!)
Man, look at who the arbiter is (gooougle) and they’re really being a little too much concerned about simple browser redirects because scaredycats keep clicking on “this website has malware”… man, that’s no virus you’re encountering.
BROWSER REDIRECTS “CAN” BE HARMFUL but, in this case (armed with my multiple/duplicative web condoms)

I still get no reaction on my ipad. I can click on the pictures and everything is normal.
