MXDL SA405: Anyone Own this?

I’m liking the look of this light. Since the fun part is modding, I’m thinking XML-T6 with a 8.4V driver using 2x14500.
Anyone own one and know what they look like inside?

EasyLightBuy will likely be the cheaper of the options you’ve posted so far. IZLight wanted $4 shipping for the light I received today (see What You Got Today thread) & they took a few days to respond. I think they may be the same parent company. Some have posted problems with EasyLightBuy, and others have had good service as well.

Can’t help with what is inside the model you’re asking about. I’ve done a Match Mod 2*14500 with a MinMag and I like my 2*CR123 lights (including the MXDL referenced in my link above), but I am leery of pushing the small batts hard.

…just to test ELB out. I’ve ordered $20-30 of items from some of the others as tests, so maybe I’ll check it out.
If I do I’ll post all about this model. I’m hoping it’s a bit like the one you got today. Since I would not be pushing the power (1Amp max to the LED), the one or two 14500 cells should be fine with it.
