Hmmm. I’m sorta new at this flashlight game, but 700 lumens from a 2x18650 XM-L setup seems underdriven? No?
Some flashlights are meant for long runtime usage, while some are for fun with high lumens output. 700Lumen+ is decent output to me.
I think they (all Chinese suppliers) are trying to get rid of the T6 modes, the U2 came out, followed quickly by the U3 and now there is the New December release of the the XML2. I am just going to wait, i just bought a U2, and I have a U3, and I just got my XML2s from

As mentioned, it’s an old model and not everyone needs to drive the LED at MAX current all the time.
I just noticed the CRI = 65 on that CW emitter. not very appealing.
