The Better ThruNite TN30 and at a REDUCED PRICE

The Better ThruNite TN30 and at a REDUCED PRICE

Why is our ThruNite TN30 better than theirs?

We have a few Brand New ThruNite TN30 lights in stock - both CW and NW.

Why are ours better?

There have been reports that some of the recently shipped TN31s and TN30s have not quite shown the attention to QC for which the company is legendary.

YOURS WILL BE PRECHECKED (unless you prefer otherwise).

$144 including shipping via Priority Mail within the US

(and add a ThruNite ti for $6 if you’d like)

Why take the chance you’ll have to send yours back?

Why take the chance you’ll have to wait for shipping from China?

We are adding another layer of QC

And that QC is being done by two highly discriminating BLF members!

Please take a look below for the (partial) checklist.

__________________________________________

About the TN30, it is by far the best light I own. That’s why we brought some in for people at the BLF. There are quite a few multi XML lights in the market but most of the others can’t even come close in quality. Unlike many Chinese lights, the ThruNite TN30 and TN31 have been highly engineered – pretty much as close to perfection as flashlights can be. I could go on for pages about the benefits and attention to detail in this light but as just one example, the 6-level magnetic ring UI (user interface) makes it vastly more usable in a range of circumstances.

Another important point:

We’re proud to be able to say that “Our ThruNite TN30 IS Better than Theirs”

Why? - Because we do an extra full QC check on the TN30 and TN31 lights that we supply. ThruNite backs up their products as well as, or better than any of the other high-end manufacturers but there have been reports on the BLF of an occasional QC issue. The company will take care of any problems but it’s still a pain to have to pack up a new light and send it back to them. We make sure that won’t happen with the lights we’re providing. Here are just a few of the items on

Our Checklist for that extra layer of QC:

The bezel

The lens

The reflector

The fit and finish

LED centering

LED tint/color

The beam quality

The magnetic switch/ring assembly

The threads and o-ring

The battery carrier and potential intermittent contact issues

The master tail switch

The holster

The case

(By the way, I’ve seen some “exclusive resellers” charge $25 or more for this service.)

The ThruNite TN30 Light is supplied complete with:

Rugged Trunk-Like Carrying Case

Custom Holster

O-rings

Spare Tail Cap Cover

Lanyard

User Manual

Warranty Card (with a 12/24 month warranty!)

The Price on the TN30 is now $144 complete.

Everything above is included and the SHIPPING IS FREE within the US.

We have the CW version and the hard-to-get NW version as well.

(We can also add a ThruNite ti for $6.00 if you’d like.)

About CW vs. NW for the TN30:

I and most other BLF members prefer the NW for the TN30’s flood capabilities. Colors are not washed out and they reflect back with a lot more accuracy – something that becomes more important at closer range. The CW is very slightly brighter according to the numbers but most feel the difference is not great enough for the human eye to easily perceive it. Here are two Great BLF reviews on the TN30:

https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/8351

https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/8440

(We all know the HKJ and turboBB to be highly experienced and detailed in their work.)

A final though about this light: There have been some “evolutionary” improvements to the ThruNite TN30 in the more recent production runs – and we have the most recently produced versions. As examples, the drivers have been “tweaked” and although the sophisticated magnetic control ring has always worked reliably, its operation has been further refined. (Unlike most, this manufacturer actually has a highly qualified engineering staff.)

Last but not least, they sold “a ton” of these lights at $220 – so at $144; a truly high-end light becomes affordable.

Feel free to get back to us if you have any questions.

KumaBear Bob

Thank you Bob… this is my first light for the year of 2013…awesome light!!.. much brighter than my Skyray king

Not sure what you mean by brighter?

Thanks for the the QC KumaBear on the problematic Thrunites,

and for your continuing commitment to our community with your wonderful keeppowers!

Has anyone compared the SRK vs TN30??

Would love some rollover comparison shots. I have the black CNQG SRK (3000lm) and would love to see if the real deal TN30 is better / brighter (for triple the price)

techmo… here’s some proof for you…
TN30 on the left and Skyray king on the right… picture contrast was reduced by 45% to show the different…

and here’s the original pic without touch up

check the pics…

DayLighter: Something is not working with the width of your pictures.. but I cant tell you what. I always use the advanced editor..

/edit: Now they look fine. :)

Is that SRK the one you got from Tmart? If so I think it's most likely fake.

if it was labeled at 3000 lms then I am sure he got a fake as well

yeah.. i got 2 of them from Tmart during black friday sale.. just realized its fake after i compare it to fast tech Fandyfire UV

the one that i got from Fast tech is little bit brighter than from Tmart.. but it's still not bad for the price i got them for..$40.50 :)

Same price as my FandyFire UV-S5... so it was bad deal, unless you got both for that price ($20.25 pcs.) :D

But enough off-topic in this thread.

KumaBear, great work you are doing here. The BLF offer of a Thrunite TN30 is a worthy one indeed. However, I would like to suggest an additional QC for the TN30. I’ve read most of the reviews up til now on TN30 and one particular complaint has to do with ramping up from Level 5 to Level 6. Some samples have shown up with PERSISTENT FLICKERING when ramping up from 5 to 6. In addition, some samples have exhibited NO CHANGE IN BRIGHTNESS when ramping up from Level 5 to Level 6. I think such an additional QC check could be very beneficial for those comtemplating the purchase of TN30, myself included.

Again, thanks for all the hard work you do for all forum members here at BLF.

Streamer

TN30 Ramping Issue and Level 5 to Level 6 Switch Efficacy

Thank you for your post.

We have added this issue to the list for the QC check.

The Battery Carrier is also a component that we’ve found requires quite a lot of attention.

The carrier itself is a great design and quite rugged but some require extra attention including removal of residue left on them by ThruNite as well as a good tightening of the screws. Even then, it seems that the flashlight requires a good firm twist to tighten it down after insertion of the carrier.

The list has grown rather long and so far we’re pleased with the QC process. As evidence of its usefulness, we’ve already rejected two lights that will be sent back to ThruNite. This is the type of hassle that we hope to save the recipients of our lights from having to deal with.

That said, I’d like to confess that we missed a small fingerprint on one of the lenses and sent out a flashlight that wasn’t perfect. It turns out that the fingerprint was located in a place where light does not shine through the lens and it will not affect the beam. Nevertheless, we should have caught it and we offered the buyer to pay for return shipping so that we could replace the light.

Regards,

KumaBear Bob

Please reserve one NW for me. I’d like one, along with a couple of the Ti’s.

Please check your messages Kumabear.

I received my light today and I’d like to discuss some possible issues with it.
