This just in guys. I received this info today from a Fenix source.
Yes, I think you are talking about RC40. Fenix did give us some basic information about this light but they haven’t sent the official announcement yet. Here is what we have for your reference. Price is not available. Factory planed to launch this item in Feb.
RC40 4* Cree XM-L U2 black 1*built-in rechargeable li-ion battery (7800mAh,with 6*18650 batteris in it) 3400 lumens 240h 750m 5 (turbo, high, mid, low, strobe) Feb.
It was your post at CPF that made me find out this info. I copied and pasted your post to a guy that sells Fenix flashlights and he found this out from his supplier I am guessing.
Sounds like a cool light except if they were on top of their game, the xml2 would be in it.Hopefully they consider that before the launch, the latest and greatest will sell.
I here yah, I had to sneak mine into the house I here rumors of a 3000 lumen Fenix light coming out, I wonder if its a TK75 with XML2 U2’s I’d be a little upset, outdated after a month but also excited that Fenix is staying competitive
Now do you see how damn smart I thought you were when you said that? It was because of you that I found out about this light today by sending out an email with your info in it.
Sounds pretty impressive. Only negative I can see so far is the likely large size - probably about like a sr90 or TK70. Both of those lights are cool, but they are just not remotely practical. To bad they can’t keep it close to the TK75 size. You would think its four battery setup would handle the 3400 lumens fine.
Anyway, looking forward to check this beasty out.
Oh Lordy… i have to stop hanging around BLF… it’s bad for me and my wallet
i thought i’m done after i purchased TN30,TN31 and Fenix TK75,
i meant … really, why do i need to buy another light when i have these “monsters”?
i thought these lights will at least last me for few years before i buy another light…
blah…it never stop :weary: … i think i’m going to need to start selling my blood from now on in order to save enough money for the new light S)
