Looking for an Everyday carry (EDC) Flashlight. Small, bright >110lm, strobe, tail button, belt clip.

I am looking for an Everyday carry (EDC) flashlight that is at least:

Important:

- less than 2oz

- bright - as bright as they come

- strobe feature

  • tail push button

Less Important:

- belt clip

- water resistant/proof

- Momentary on

- LED Solid State Power Regulation

- low setting

  • cr123a - I know this is the cr123a forum. I am open to other batteries if the flashlight is brighter/smaller.

Looking at:
Streamlight 88030 Protac Tactical Flashlight 1L

If anyone has a smaller/brighter solution to the Streamlight 1L please comment. Thank you!

Eagletac D25C or D25A Clickie.

+1

Exactly what I was thinking. Get Ti if you want to go fancy.

They come in neutral too.

+2 Ti version recommended

Wow! Thank you all for the quick responses! Clearly I am in the right place to find an answer.

I reviewed the Eagletac D25C and have fallen in love! It seems to meet all of my important and less important needs.

A few questions:

- What is the main difference between the D25C and D25C Ti?
-Besides the titanium.

- Does memory mode work with strobe?
-e.g. strobe comes on first

- Which LED blub do you recommend?
-XT-E R5, XP-G S2, XP-G R4(NW), XM-L T6(NW), etc.

- Is there a monetary on?
-Or must it be clicked

  • Do you recommend a place to buy it from?

xpg2 for throw or xml for total output.

Main difference between the aluminum vs Ti is cost, but if you are going to use the light med/high mode for extended time, aluminum offers better heat management. Ti is a beautiful easy to maintain finish though. I have the XP-G2, very nice creamy tint with good throw. Some have reported greenish tint with the XM-L. Illumination Gear is a good U.S. supplier: http://www.illuminationgear.com/14322/index.html

No momentary, it’s a reverse clicky; no memory either, if turned off for a second or so it reverts back to low. But if it’s a concern then in tactical mode the strobe is fast enough to be on.
I have an XPG S2, neutral white makes things look nice and close enough to natural light for colors that matter. Nice wide usable spill with enough throw to see what’s up ahead.
Illuminationgear.com for purchase, great people, super fast free shipping on already good prices.

I’m waiting the presentation of Armytek EDC flashlights Good service and shipping too
