They are HERE! Xeno Nichia 219 and XM-L2 CW and NW Lights! E03, Cube, G42, G10, F7

Hi Guys,

We managed to get a custom run of Xeno lights with Nichia 219 High CRI emitters and Cree XM-L2 U2 CW and T6 NW emitters! As far as I know we may be the first (or one of the first) to stock a production light with an XM-L2 NW emitter! We managed to offer these lights with cutting edge emitters with no increase in price! The E03 ranges from $27.90-$33.49 depending on LED type! And the F7 a 18650 light with Nichia 219 is just $39.99!

These are currently a limited run and are 100% exclusive to EDCPlus.com! The E03 for example even got an upgraded AR Lens and is now boasting 523 OTF Lumens, 20% more OTF Lumens (compared to the standard XM-L version).

We also have a brand new version of the Xeno Cube a the V8 which has a much better design. Rather than a plug to remove the cell, you just twist the head from the body. The Cube is also now available in a polished finish and a sand blasted finish!

Now for some pictures!:

nice, xeno is good brand are we going to have them with XML2,XPG2 in the near future?

I have them in stock with XM-L2’s… The above post is about the release of Nichia 219 and XM-L2 Xeno’s exclusive to EDCPlus.

oups missed that,thats really nice.

Ordered an F7 with Nichia 219. I like the 18650 capability.

Couldn’t resist. I love my XM-L E03 and I’ve been wanting to try a light with a 219

Does anyone know why there is a latitude and longitude coordinate on the 6th. flashlight down? BTW, they take you to a snowy mountain top just south of Jiuquan, China.

Good eye cone. I would have looked at that, and not even thought about it.
Perhaps if EDC Plus is reading, they can give us an answer.

Just ordered the E03 XM-L2 U2. Have been looking at them for some time now and with the addition of the new LED’s, I just couldn’t resist this time.
I almost bought the Cube too. Very cool looking light. Only thing stopped me was that $90 is little much for what would become a shelf queen. I like it though.

I really like the Cube, but not at that price.

On a side note, Hats off to the EDC webmaster, the images on the links to larger images are fantastic! Nothing is worse than typical thumbnail pictures on a website with a larger image link that opens a new window with the same sized image.

This is great to see these emitters in affordable lights. Thanks EDCPlus!

Are these the same Nichia 219’s that Illumination Supply has had? 4500K tint with 92 CRI and B10 flux bin? There are other 219’s out there with much warmer tints and less output.

Not crazy about the mode order of MLH though on the E03’s, especially on the Nichia version which probably doesn’t even need a Medium.

I was wondering about the Nichia tint also, but, what the hell, I just ordered it and I’ll find out when it arrives. If its a different tint than illumination supply, I’d like to compare it with my own eyes.

That polished Cube looks amazing. I have a thing about polished lights

Haha I’ve noticed that, but I don’t have an answer. It’s just for looks I guess. That is interesting that someone looked up the coordinates.

Thank you! I took those pictures, and I like giving people the ability to see good quality High-res pictures of what they are buying.

Yes. They are actually from Illumination Supply. Craig is a good friend of mine.

I noticed he’s selling your EDCPlus P60 triple Nichias.

It was a joint project. We each did our parts. He did the LED sourcing, and got the MPCB made and optics and I got the rest made.

I think most members would like it if you drove them a little harder…that seems to be the talk anyway.

We don’t have access to a quality driver that delivers more than 2A. So that would require developing our own driver, which is possible but would take a while and add cost.

Secondly, I wouldn’t offer anything more than 2A or so unless it had thermal regulation or auto step down. 5-10 minutes at 3-4A is fine, but longer than that is dangerous.

Sounds good to me. Theres a lot of modders here whose lights should require the wearing of a full asbestos body suit before turning on. I’m really looking forward to my F7 Nichia 219.
