Anyone heard of Soraa LEDs before?

Their products look promising, and their advertising is well polished, and the bulbs claim a CRI of 95 and cost a premium

I checked their datasheet for their “premium” 3000K bulb. Draws 12 watts, spews 450 lumens. The Philips bulbs that I used draw only 10 watts and spew 500 lumens.

12 watts in an MR16 form factor should get stupid hot. The Philips bulbs have a small fan in them to manage the heat. I measured several 6 watt MR16 bulbs and they all get over 80C
