My first real flashlight. Cant wait to get it and play around. It should be helpful with getting my head around the optics and heat situation fot my high beam build.
Thoughts on this one?

Would definitely consider buying it, if it would be within my budget…

$54? Its not the most lumens per dollar I found, but the micro USB charge port won it a LOT of points with me.
Not bad at all for your first “real” light. Esp since charger is built in. less hassle but less flexibility. If you get some beamshots you should post them. 
It should be a great light but I'd save the USB charging port as a last resort. I don't care for charging Li-Ion cells inside of the light. If one decides to vent it is usually when charging and when inside the light you can't check it for heat (warm cells is a bad thing when charging) and the whole thing becomes a potential pipe bomb in your house or car. Other than that it's a real good choice.
Love my nitecore lights. Got the nitecore MT26 and P25, 2 of my favourite lights. I’m sure you’ll love the MH25 too, nitecore are putting out really nice premium flashlights with superior build and the latest features at pretty reasonable prices compared to other premium lights out there. Everything about these lights screams quality. Have fun. 
I have the MH-25, it really is a nice light. Good clean beam profile, decent throw with good spill as well. Running on 1 x 18650 is a nice addition.
Just a couple months ago the light was going for $80.
Im glad it looks like I made a pretty good choice. Im already browsing for a smaller pocket friendly light.
I never really need a flashlight, but theyre just so neat. hah!
