Hi, was wondering if it’s possible to make a Question and Answer topic, (preferably a sticky) in the Flashlight Modding / DIY section? I’m not a beginner with electronics or fabrication, but compared with some of the others on the forum I don’t come close to their wealth of knowledge in the area of flashlight modification, etc.

There are many topics on the forum about modding, DIY parts, etc, but finding certain info can be quite a chore, plus things get buried very quickly. I’m mainly talking about the simple questions that can be easily answered, and don’t require a whole thread. Thanks for the great forum either way! 
Not sure what you mean since the forum seems to operate as a Q n A already. Do you mean a thread that is available for hijacking to save opening a new one? The advantage of a new thread is that the title of a new thread shows on the front page but the content of a new post in an old thread does not so anyone looking to help would have to track down your question before deciding if they could answer.
? Not sure what you mean either. Wasn’t suggesting for anything to change at all. Was thinking it would be helpful to newbie modders for the admin to make a place for simple questions that can be answered with a “yes”, or “no”, or a (ie) “4.2volt” etc, etc If that sounds like a bad idea the admin can disregard my suggestion. The current M.O. on the forum works, so no big deal.
Sorry, not trying to usurp SB’s role just wanting to understand the idea. A little back and forth to clarify it, maybe improve it, find out if it’s workable.
Ok, my bad, I’ve STILL not sorted out the one stop mod reference shop.
Since I’m lay up in bed today I’ll try and make a start.
The idea of the thread is to have usefull information for modders available including tech pieces to get people started. Much of what is needed is in there, it just needs arranging into a coherent format.
