Mini lumapower (a C8-class light), generic emitter, AAA form. Est 500mA boost draw from 1.5V (based on my other “mini” light), around 8lumens. Good for collection or modding. Not too bad actually, quite usable in car or as nightstand light.

Somehow I just feel the need for this disclaimer. Please note that this is NOT a TN31, or a K40, a TK75 or a BTU shocker. This is a cheap cheap $2 shipped light for emergency or novelty use. Before you buy and rant, please consider all of the above
I apparently had 70 points with TT (dunno when or how I got it) and traded it to make the price $1.29 shipped… even nicer deal.
The specs say AA and the review AAA. I’d suggest AAA. It says on the top line 5 lights max to 1 account. It would not let me checkout with more than 1 and wont allow me to purchase anymore.
I have a few of the other “mini” variants. It should really be AAA as per OP, unless this is a new strain nobody knew about. Plastic pills though, so modding needs a little more creativity & effort than usual.

Close. It was the mini C8 version. Standard they are a pretty horrible light. If you machine the head length wise you can press fit a TIR lens in with an XP-G in behind it with a single mode driver come up pretty good. I just like the mini versions off the bigger lights.
For a second, I thought this was another Lunapower Lumahunter deal that had returned from a few years past. Ive got less than 20 left from the original 300 I purchased. I knew I should have purchased 1,000 of those things while I still had the chance. |(
