Surefire M600 with replica/knock-off mount on real firearm?

Hi there,

I own a M600C without mount base.
I found out, that the replica of the Gear Sector mount is CNC machined and made of 7075 aluminium.

Did someone every used the knock-off mounts on a 5.56 or 7.62?
