Rating: TinyDeal.com

http://TinyDeal.com

Pros:

  • Some unique products at competitive prices
  • Legitimate seller
  • Worldwide free shipping
  • Reasonably fast shipping (1-3 days after order the item are shipped)
  • Good selection of knives and some unique flashlights
  • Defective product policy tested. Very good. Sent a defective item replacement rightaway even with tracking which was unrequired but they did it anyway.
  • User mrcool (from TinyDeal) posts and occasionaly reply on our forum. A big +

Cons:

  • [July 2015] Made use of lying shills pretending to be customers. Warning sent.
  • Perhaps their supplier could do a better QC. You might get unlucky sometimes but isn't that true with all others?
  • Shipping policy could cause some problems in certain situations

I ordered a couple of the SANRENMU 6261's on 4-6-11 and was shipped a couple of days later so we'll see when they actually arrive here and if they're the right knives. We might as well be gambling in Vegas.

Just make a ratings thread youself, take one of the other rating-threads as template.

Oh no~ Tinydeal is forgotten by our administrator..

Thank you for your support, budgeteer.

Thanks for your purchase. If you encounter any problems about our products, please feel free to contact me or our customer service.

You're welcome. It's nothing particular i just browsed the dealers section and noticed it. :)

Can't wait for the multitool to arrive.

Hi Budgeteer, I hijacked your thread. >) That way you can edit the Pros and Cons of the first post, since you are the owner. Thanks for reminding me about this. And thanks to Mr Cool for being cool and posting on BLF!

The hijack seems appropriate. Thanks for editing it accordingly so i have not to. :P

Btw, mrcool despite the name is in fact a lady. :)

You'll be the first to know if anything goes wrong but I'm actually hoping for the best.

Thank you.

Thank you for purchasing from us again.

I hope HongKong post will be faster and the multitool arrived without any problems this time.

I didn't know why I typed this name when I registered this account. (*^__^*)

I hope so..

I ordered a couple of Sanremu 704's from Tinydeal.com.

I hope they don't arrive in little pieces

Oh, you should believe it

I have ordered from them a few times. Have been really good so far.

Received my SRM 603, Smith & Wosson fake and CSR fake today after 18 days. Everything arrived as ordered, in good condition. I've ordered before from TD and am quite happy with them.

When comparing Tinydeal with competitor sites, be sure to note this:

Tinydeal only gives tracked airmail when you spend $33 or more.

AND if your purchase is sent regular airmail and doesn't arrive within 35 days of shipping, their FAQ says that they will query the post office, urge it gets to you sooner, and it can take three months to get a response from the post office.

Seriously...? So if I order something, and it goes missing in the post, I might get an 'answer' from China post in 120 days....?

Doesn't sound very reassuring.

Thanks dimeotane, first post updated.

Yes, if your package doesn't arrive after 35 days, we will query the post office. Since the post office has to handle great deals packages every day, so we offer get replies from them at least 120 days later, that's really long time and the query time of China Post and Hong Kong are almost the same. If the package is confirmed lost, we will contact our customers and return their payments, but under some circumstance the packages are stopped or kept by Customs. But don't worry, that would happen very seldom.

According my own opinions, the regular airmail and the register air mail are pretty much the same things, the unique difference is that you can get a tracking number to trace your package and know where it is. Sometimes regular airmail would be faster than register airmail.

I actually prefer untracked HK Post parcels to the tracked ones because the tracking vanishes when it reaches Australia anyway, and the untracked ones get put into the mailbox instead of me having to go to the post office several days later when I have time to pick it up.
