If you had an opportunity to visit a major budget flashligh manufacturing company...

... and to have the possibility to grab anything you like for cheap...

... how it would end up?

P.S. Since i'm weak for this i suspect i would have a hard time convincing my wife to not divorce me turning a room in a warehouse...

Iknowwherefoywouldgo

I'd spend as much money as I could with just enough left to survive on. Who the hell am I kidding--I'll probably go broke buying flashlights.

I wonder where exactly in China that damn Solarforce factory is. I mean, can I just take a shuttle from the airport, pay the duty and charter a cargo seven-4 to L.A. and then truck it into Las Vegas? A couple of 18-wheelers, two trips each from LAX oughtta do it. Bet I could wrap the whole thing up in under two weeks.

Anything?.........Cheap?

Definitely this

What a monster Tas62!

And I really liked that its output is temperature controlled.

Don't let Match come to study that design... :D

He might even start putting together a flashlight company for which it has my sincere encouragement. Strictly custom made flashlights. Why bother with standard ones...

I want the legendarily mysterious Fenix TK70. Its huuuuuggee, literally.

The problem is that anyone who saw you with it would joke that you were compensating for something.

I think i would go to Match house and grab everything... I know Match is not a flashlight company but is something similar!

I would probably go with nitecore/solarforce/cree

I'd like to see where the MRV clones are made. And Match's workshop.

Me too....to tour Match's shop.

Crap, I can't remember where they make this, but I'd go there...

I think that is a WW2 60" carbon arc searchlight. They were made by GE. If you dig through CPF you should find reference to it.

Where's the bat?

Hehe...well, if any of you folks are ever in the Charleston, SC area, you're welcome to stop by for a drink and chat. Although you may be disappointed....unlike the infamous "Q", my shop is little more than a second hand desk crammed full of tools, test equipment, misc pieces parts, and my trusty basset hound who lays in the corner wondering what just what the heck I'm up to...Tongue out

I can keep the basset hound company but I'll need a few beers though. I'd love to just hang out and watch how mods are done. My buddy Norm loves to make things with wood and I usually hang around, watching what he does, occasionally assisting and drinking beer.

I'd find the machine that puts words on flashlight and break it! :P

It would be a financial tragedy but I woud have fun.

On one hand... awesome. The kind of scary, scary awesome that makes you cry a little when you think it'll never happen.

On the other hand... waiting for DX is bad enough. Ordering a light knowing that there's 793 others ahead of you (BTW, Hi to our newest member, Julynana! now back of the line!) would drive me bughouse nuts.

The only way this would work is if his flashlight factory was... umm.. secret.. and ... err..

please? please let me in? I won't tell anyone else...
