LOL!!!  Holy crap you are right!  I'd rather have the Warrior anyway but that's funny.

Careful on what you say.. You ordered FandyFire because you love the sound of it. Time for full refund. Tongue Out

I see that happening to my XM-L Warrior in the near future. I see also Noctigons involved.

Don't say that yet.  I could have sworn it said Fandyfire on the other side of the light but will have to wait until I get back home to confirm.  It is more likely that the "Warrior" monicker is on both brands and "YL-U2" is merely the model number used by FF.

All of them looks great. You really make it seem so easy together with your presentation.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

The Warrior killed the King. But, with a better driver, maybe the King will come back to life… Smile

Mouse over for Shining Beam Blaze

My first attempts at beamshots. Hope this works. Mouse out Warrior on high, mouse over Shining Beam Blaze on high.

It looks like the Warrior is more focused than SRK beam pattern…does it throw better than a SRK?

Sorry, but I don’t have a SRK to compare with. However, the beam is more focused than I anticipated.

Got the FandyFire version earlier today, comparing to the SRK, as mentioned already it has more focused beam and not as floody. Still a floody light just not as much as the SRK. A lot smaller than the king in circumference, head and body. Excellent threads and build quality. Do I like it better than the king, no better or worse, like them both. This light is a lot easier to pocket than the king. The king has a stainless bezel this light doesn’t have.

It will be really interesting to see a beashot comparison from the SRKing, SRKung, Supfire M6, and Warrior. Wonder if there would be a clear winner. More than likely they are all so close it comes down to personal preference.

JohnnyMac, were you going to do a full review of the Warrior? Just curious. At $35 it seems like a good deal.

I am really liking this one! I can’t wait until dark tonight. Since I got screwed on my King I can’t compare it to it, but I really am loving the Warrior!

My bright friends: Fenix TK40, Solarstorm Warrior, FandyFire UV-S5 (King), C8’s, SK68s, Defiant 3c and 3d

I do plan on a full review eventually.  Have a few to do before it though so don't hold your breath. Smile

I agree on all counts.  This has the edge over the SRK in my book simply because of the ability to make the 2nd mode any level I want.  With the SRK you are locked in to the 2 modes.

Now an SRK with TexasPyro's driver would be a whole other matter! Wink

Very nice beam shots!  That's a great place to do them in.  I have nothing similar to that where I live. Sad

JohnnyMac, have you compared to SRK and does it out-throw it? It appears to. Completely agree, the variable output option makes this light way ahead of a standard SRK and Kung even with around the same output, and if throwier, adds another bonus variable to the mix.

I’m highly interested, but I’m kind of holding out for a NW version. Any news from FastTech by any chance about the possibility?

I had it in my shopping cart until I saw your comment about the PWM on Fasttech Sad
Maybe I’ll get the SRT7 instead.
