I thought my work bag was a bit heavy today.

Well, it turned out that I was taking EDC to ludicrous extremes.

Having pulled out the non-work stuff I found this pile - OK, one of the phones is a work phone.

Seventeen lights, a camera with 4 spare cells, two phones, an elderly ipod and seven multitools.

No wonder it weighed rather more than usual. And I doubt the need for 17 lights (on top of the three on my keychain, the one that lives in the filing cabinet and the extra one that lives in my desk.

Time for some emptying of the bag.

Ha ha, do you actually have any work associated stuff in your bag?

(OT Hope you can soon add another MT to your collection, unfortunately no news yet and again overdue |( )

:)

Just a bit. Laptop, power supply, 3G modem/router and its PSU, paper, notebooks, pens, enough cables to anchor a ship, LiPo battery pack and adapters to charge just about anything. It comes to about 30kg in total.

30 kg? Maybe you should call it workout bag!

I dont see a fire starter in there.

Is that a Mammut multi-tool, that I see there on the lower right?

It is - it just arrived last week.

Hehe...That might be a tad excessive :)

That's because I'm a smoker, the lighter is in my pockets.

I feel better about my OCFD now.

Jeez, with 7 multi tools, you should just carry real tools instead!

They're in the car.

They keep the chainsaw company there. ;)

I knew you would have it covered.

I can see it now. Don vs Wild. The "new" Bear Grylls. LOL

Scottish chainsaw massacre 2 - coming to a forum near you ;-)

dang 30kg and no gun and no knife other than the multi-tool blades, must live in a more civilized neighborhood than some.

I'm going to bet that they're all too big for his little bag. Like Ash, he probably keeps his shotgun next to his chainsaw.

... off to shop smart at S-mart!

I thought multitools were meant to allow for the convenience carrying less tools. I guess it could also mean that you're supposed to have multiples of them.

Don.

Don I think your one flashlight short of a picnic

Does your back hurt?
