I like the design! But XP-C must be a typo?!?
That light was mentioned in the payday thread. I think it looks pretty nice, I really like it. Xpc though? Manafont sometimes shows the emitter but the photos show everything but.
Well, given the claim that it's an XP-C why bother? It's not as if there are any lower performing Cree LEDs.
I like the design and the size along with being twistie. The color temperature seems also quite warm...
Ey guys!
At DX there is a similar flashlight with different brand ("ultrafire"). It has XP-C led, so this should have the same led
I think is the same but with different color and brand
looks the same to me and they both say XP-C
Oh and i tought it was something new... never noticed the one on DX also it seems way lighter gray...
XP-C? Nay thanks.
I like this one more

Too bad they put the r5 in the normal black design lamp… What do you guys think about the r2?
Is a good light and some people say real R2 inside, but a bit heavy as all SS lights
It is a dollar cheaper at DX
alibaba says xp-c cree q5: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/802068/200275902-448920045/Sky-Ray-S1-XP-C-CREE-Q5-LED-Mini-Torch-Light.html
If you're a tint freak you'll like the xpc tint better or as good as any q3 warm tint etc... I like the tint on my dino direct lights ..I just wanted xpg r5's when they said that's what was in them .. the thing about my lights is they'll take a 14500 but it doesn't increase the output on them ..that would be my guess on these but it's only a guess .. the xpc does have a yellowish buttery tint .. i like it .. i just expected twice the lumens .
If you want tint buy it .. if you think a lithium ion will make it bright , I'm betting you're wrong .
Yeah the best an XP-C can do is still less than 150lm I belive. Which while not exactly cutting edge is probably more than is on the whole needed from a little light.
....but who want enough light, when you have the option for far too much :P
Or you could just ask Manafont to take a picture of the emitter...
...as an XP-C Q5. The brightest is a Q4 and that is a cold white. This one is clearly a warm emitter and the brightest Cree makes is a P3 which tops out at 105 lm @ 500 mA. Folks on DX that have bought it all say the light is extremely warm & yellow. No chance of it being a cool white LED. Everything about the description cries out BS but at least it's a handsome little light IMHO. I'll take my little Trustfire F23 pumping 250 lm of pure white light any day over this one.
Cheers,
Johnny
