Having a devil of a time in getting to download a video. I can get it to show up correctly if I use the advanced post editor. The post was originally started with simple post editor, and when I try to repost standard pics everything seems to go bust. Do I copy the old post, delete the old contents and start the post anew in the advanced post mode??? I’m using firefox as a browser.
Do you want to embed a video or photos? For video in simple editor there is a button for it in between image and link. The code to make it show:

Thanks, saw that link before, and a previous BLF topic on the video downloading. Tried again and it still errors out. Pretty sure I have the latest FlashPlayer. Rookie mistake going on somewhere in the process. I have no problem uploading video in advance mode, but then have problems downloading pics 
. I’ll find the right buttons to push eventually.
Adding images in advanced mode is quite straightforward, click Insert/Edit Image button, then put the URL into the field and press "insert". You should then see the image in the preview pane. The rest of the fields are for changing image on mouseover etc. but aren't necessary.
The main problem for me was trying to download the video in standard format by inserting the youtube link. Tried a few different browsers, still no go. Trying to remake the post by switching formats midstream doesn’t seem to work, nor was it probably intended to. If a video is involved, I will try and remember to use the advanced editor next time.
