Just my initial take on it after seeing it on cnqualitygoods.com
This is a very nice looking light; total simplicity, nice lines. However the description says tailcap click, but the photos show clearly a side switch.
Nice size for an 18650 powered light, does anyone own one? Mighit even be an aspheric lens, it is hard to tell. Never ordered from cnqg, may have to try it sometime soon.
Looks like a TIR lens like the Mr.Lite BLF-Y4E has. The tail doesn't look like it has any moving parts, so I agree it is probably the switch on the side. Nice light.
Yeah, TIR optic and a side switch...they probably just use a default template and didn't change the switch field.
Looks very nice, it's clean lines are quite apealing. "3 modes Lo>Hi>Strobe " is rather unfortunate, a mid level would have been much better than a strobe.
The site looks like it's been going up and down for the last couple hours or so .. I was able to access the site a few minutes ago, but now not. I bet it's just some network trouble or the like.
Sorry I've heard that so many times it always seemed to make sense ...but not every flashlight gets put in your pocket //When was the last time you pocketed a 4 D maglight?
I have lots of side button lights and have never had one come on in my pocket . Ithe fact that it is an 18650 does make this worse if it does happen .If a AA eneloop comes on accidentally who cares ?
I ordered two of the 3 aaa version for my brother and dad for Christmas from Meritline. Pictures don't do this light justice, you can't see the seam when it's threaded tight, it looks like a solid piece of stainless. Single mode Q5 very bright tight beam, they were a big hit.
Hi E1320, is the 3aaa version you got from mertline bright. I got the same one, but it is very weak. My sipik68 is brighter than the 3aaa. And have you try to mod that to take 18650?
I got the light today, picked it up at the P.O. on my way to work. I haven't had a chance to put a battery in it yet, will report on it tonight, but the body is as good looking as the photos shows. Nice satin finish stainless steel, even the clicky is SS.
The lens is something I have not seen before. The glass at the top is flat, but when you look down into the light it looks like a zoomie on full focus, with some kind of translucent dot directly above the emitter. Interesting.
Solid build on this thing, very nicely finished. So I gues cnqualitygoods.com is still up and running.
**Note** there is a very small stencil on the sides of this light that identify it as a Yezl.
Been checking out the beam of this light, and I have observations to report.
Maybe the easiest way to describe this light is, it's like having a gorgeous girlfriend who embarrasses you everytime she talks.
It's all show and no go.
This Yezl has a weaker beam than my Trustfire F23 (single AAA) and about the same lumens but more focused than my Z1.
If all you had was an older Maglite, this SS light would be cool, but I've been spoiled and the beam, especially from an 18650, just is not there. Which is too bad, because I REALLY wanted to like this light, it is just so nice to touch and looks awesome, IMO. Clean lines, hefty, well made, good threads, good fit and finish, plus I love side-clickies. But the output sucks; feels like an XR-E with weak throw.
I'd love to try to mod it, but looks like everything is glued into place, I can't get into the pill.
So unless you need a shelf queen, save your money for something that says XM-L on it.
My thoughts exacty. I'll probably gift it later, as most non-flashaholics won't be jaded by XM-L's and XP-G's like we are here. But that means I'll have to gift a charger and an 18650 too
