I am looking for a nice keychain light for everyday use. I would prefer it to be 3 mode with firefly, XP-G2, single AAA, and cost about $20 with shipping.
This Olight seems to meet all the criteria.

I like the Thrunite Saber 1A but it is in the $30 dollar range. The Thrunite Ti2 is sub $20 but only has 2 modes.
Any thoughts on these? Any others I should consider? Any crazy specials or deals that I missed?
With your set of wishes I think the olight just is the one.
The i3S is a jewel, I even like their weird M-H-L UI after using it. 
L3 Illumination L10 is a better way to go. Just $20.
Even better than that is the same light but with a Nichia 219 high-CRI emitter. It costs $5 more but worth every cent. Once you have one you won't want to use anything else. ;)

I really like the L3 but with the Nichia and shipping to Canada it is $35US. Too much for a keychain light, I think.
Another smaller nitpick was the cutouts in the tail to allow the small split ring to fold over to allow tail standing were crudely cut and had very sharp points and edges. Several minutes with a fine file took away the sharp edges but still, they should have been smoothed out from the start Another problem with it was even though I smoothed out the twistiy action somewhat, the head was very loose and even with the rough threads, it would turn too easily and could easily activate carrying it in a pocket or on a keychain

I went with the Olight i3s EOS. I am having a tough time finding anything to complain about. Build quality is very high and the UI is good. Seems like a nearly perfect keychain light.
Try it with a 10440 li-ion. Then you will be really impressed.
I3s is my new keychain light.. Very nice little light. :)
Swapped to a Nichia 219. Nicer color, but certainly dimmer. Not 100% sure if Ill keep that emitter in it. But if this light works nicely with 10440, then I have a feeling I will change my mind.
Questions:
-Can the I3s use 10440 without any issues. Officially its not supported?? How is the mode spacing with 10440?
-Can anyone recommend a store that cells both 10440 and 16340 IMR with good quality?
