Pretty nice 3500mA driver from LCK-LED

I just received my first order from LCK-LED and among the items I bought was a 3.0A driver to try out with the batch of XM-L emitters I bought with it. While I haven't tested it yet it looks different from the pick on the site but a LOT like the killer driver in Foy's new 980L that pushes 3500mA. It looks like really good quality. I've been searching for a good driver in 17mm that puts out more juice than the 8*7135 driver from KD. I also like the fact that the battery side of the PCB is flat and gold plated. ALso hoping it doesn't have the mid & low mode whine that the 2.8 driver from KD has.

I just went back to their site to buy a couple more and reread the specs on it. I will provide a quick review after I install it in something but in the mean time it looks promising enough for some of you to try it out if you are adventurous.

Cheers,
Johnny

I hear ya! Let us know. I was already thinking that i'm probably the only one with a KD "Paganini" 2,8A driver since no1 mentioned it or i missed the post.

The pics are evidently stock shots. A 3A driver attached to an XR-E is going to do Bad Things.

Neat site. I'm a complete newb to the mod side, but I noticed warm tint 5mm's on that site. First thought that crossed my mind was a warm tinted E01 (even though I know these are practically impossible to mod).

Please let us know what this thing puts out as soon as you find out. To bad it's a 5 mode, do you know if there is any way to bypass the flashy strobe crap. How long was the delivery time?

Pictures desn't match description in any way. There is no IC on the pictures to run modes and 8 AMC 7135 can deliver only 2.8A.

I will take pics of the driver this weekend and upload them. It doesn't appear to use 7135's in it.

I don’t mind flashy modes as long as it has memory. Delivery from order time was about 2 weeks. Not bad at all.
