BLF reported as malicious on FireFox 4

Hi.

I use FF4 and Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4). Some of my bookmarks still point to cz.cc .

Today I got a malicious site alert, because the site is apparently hosted at ThePlanet. The alert explicit tells that there is nothing wrong with the site, only with it's network.

Just letting you know, don't know if anything can be done. After ignoring the alert, the site loads normally.

I got the same thing in chrome with my old links that pointed to blf.cc.cz. I switched my bookmarks to the .com and all is well

I guess that didnt totally fix it. I went to the solarforce rating thread to post and got the warning again. I says the .com site has content from the .cc.cz site and the .cc.cz site was a site known to distribute malware. Its not going to bother me but it will surely freak out new visitors.

Hmmm, that's not good. Thanks for reporting this.

So, to be clear, this only happens when the link goes through .cz.cc?

By the way, welcome back Mr. Administrator. Hope your time away was good.

My guess is that the malware protection just assumes everything in .cz.cc is a sewer.

Hi there SirJohn, good to be back. Thanks!

Don: I suspect you're right. I wonder if this warning appears when they directly visit a .cz.cc domain in their browser, or if there is any sort of .cz.cc link in the content. There's probably a fair amount of old .cz.cc links in the content here.
