Does anyone having problems with credit card paying for items? It shows that Payment Failed. I ordered in the past with my room mates card and shipped to me with no problems. Recenty, i am having problems.
Have you tried contacting your bank? Could be they stopped the overseas transaction in case of fraud.
I opened an allowance account for my flashlights only to find out that my small bank would not allow me to purchase from any web site in China, period. Plus they told me that DX’s payment processor specifically was considered by them to be shady. I was ready to close the account until it dawned on me that they like PayPal transactions just fine. So maybe your bank thinks DX is shady—mine did.
However, you should probably be using PP anyway because oftentimes it is your only recourse if something goes wrong. Customers usually win the PP disputes so companies like DX take PP extra seriously.
I also just use paypal as it is safer. If anything goes wrong, you can open a dispute and possibly get your money back. Plus you aren’t giving a random company you card information.
Have you tried using your credit card with Paypal checkout? This is another option.
That’s what I do, open an account with PayPal, it doesn’t need money in it, you link one or more cards to it and use PayPal checkout. It takes you to the PayPal account to authorize the transaction.
I can even buy stuff from the U.S.A. Amazon, mostly from China based sellers that do free P&P. Some SRM etc. that it’s hard to get. :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
Edit…… Some cards like one of mine has a limit of seven transactions in 24hrs. The card is blocked. You ring your issuer and ask them to unblock it, after some security questions they do. They said its to limit the amount that can be taken fraudulently. :quest: :quest: :quest: By the time seven transactions have been taken it would block on the credit limit anyway. :_(
Thanks guys, I called my bank and they said that there was no transaction on my credit card. So, i just joined Paypal. How long does it take?
I think there is a spending limit when you are unverified. You have to wait for a payment to show up in your statement. It has been a while so I can’t recall exactly if you need to do that for each card (but only once).
I’m not sure how long Paypal can finish the transactions. That service can encounter problems, but not too often. I think, depending on the situation, it’s always less than a week or two.
Go to PayPal and log into your account, all the info you need is there.
There are limits set for an unverified account holder but again it’s all set out in your account “dashboard” for want of a better word.
Paypal wants my bank info and they will deposit 2 amount for me to return to them. It will take 3 to 5 days for this to happen.
It didn’t work like that for me.
When I buy something I check out through PayPal. PayPal then takes the money from whichever card I choose and passes it to the seller.
I then get a message emailed and on screen from PayPal saying transaction complete or something like.
My PayPal a/c never has a positive balance always a string of minus amounts.
I’ve never sold anything via PayPal so my a/c is in debit but only fraction of a second as it gets the money transferred from one of my cards, then it stands at £0.00 again.
I hope that makes sense ’cos it’s starting to confuse me now. :weary:
You can also add a card to your account. This shouldn’t take any verification. When you add a bank account they will deposit a small amount (like $0.05) and then with draw that amount in two different withdraws (like $0.02 and $0.03). Then you have to go onto their site and enter the amounts that where deposited and withdrawn. Then your bank account will be verified. So if you add a card you should be good to go right away.
You can start using PP immediately after joining. There are spending limits when you are unverified, but I never hit them. You should be able to keep shopping while you are waiting to be verified.

I found the reason why I can’t make payment. DX blocked me because I made too many complaints/tickets. Most of them were related to the Ultrafire M5 when it was sold for $1.30 plus I purchased them at the bulk rate and used my DX gift card which came out to $0.87 each. I asked for a refund of the bulk shipping charges.
What a way to treat customers!!!
Wow! I didn’t know they do that. 
I get an error 500 page when trying to pay with PayPal.
I have the $20.00 coupon I won, and can’t use it.
