Would this be as nice as the ones at IOS? Sure doesn’t look the same…it shows a 2-group 3A 7135*8 driver.

As I mentioned in the Wallbuys thread. This is completely different to the XinTD that IOS sells. So if you buy one of these expecting to get something the same as the one from IOS well… you won’t. I think this light came about because Cherry asked me what I thought they should stock. I said (I prefer) higher quality lights (better than ultrafire etc.) that are driven properly and mentioned that as an example my Convoy and IOS XinTD C8s were examples of a better quality C8 type light.
However when I first saw the group buy on Wallbuys I questioned her about it because as you have all noted it is not the same as the IOS one. She informed me that apparently XinTD is not a registered brand in China and as such I take it anyone can slap that brand onto a light. So essentially XinTD does seem like the new ultrafire.
In saying that though…. It is still a 3A (yet to be tested) driven C8 with an XM-L2 emitter, and has a mode group which doesn’t have blinky modes, so as far as C8s go it should still be a pretty decent variant. I also note that its dimensions are the same as the original XinTD and out of all the C8s I have had the XinTD has been the longest, so with any luck the body is just as good quality as the original one.

I’m one of them. I’d heard a lot of chatter about the XinTD C8 so I took one before this thread began. No bid deal. I’ve never owned a C8 before anyway.
I thing Convoy C8 with 6 x AMC driver for about 14$ was much better deal (but it was over while I contemplated should I buy it or not)…

I received my XinTD from WB yesterday, and I love it. I went to the IOS sight and compared it to all the pictures, and it is exactly the same, right down to the o-rings. The only difference I could see was the XinTD logo on IOS has little brackets around the edges.
The beam is immaculate. I mean perfect…beautiful. There is not even a hint of a flaw on a white wall. The hot spot is so tight and perfect, it looks like it’s painted on the wall.
I get a solid 3.0A reading at the tail. The first thing I usually think of is, “how can I mod this light”. I’m not touching this light. I can’t see any way to improve it.
So the reflector screws in the pill, forward clicky, AR coated glass and qlite driver? Because without those features the XinTD C8 would not be but a C8.
I must have missed it. It’s now $33.

Their introductory group buy for this C8 was 22.99, then 8ish days ago they did another for 19.99 iirc (ended sometime within the last 48 hours).
Actually, it doesn’t appear to have.
I logged in with another browser and the group buy offer popped up again in a separate small window! So I just snagged a couple C8s, even though it says “expired” on the deal page. Got them for $19.99.
What is the body colour of your XinTD from WB? The one from IOS comes with grey-ish colour, but the pictures in WB appear to be black colour?
EDIT: Actually not only with the colour, yet the pictures in WB show completely different thing with the IOS version.
You are correct they aren’t the same. The pictures of the one at wb and IOS are different and ouchy confirmed in another thread that the reflector and Pill don’t screw together.
