I like the idea. Having a red light mode is nice, but I'd still like to see it with a lower low.

I saw this the other day on IS's facebook I think. Really like the concept, but no way I can afford like $80 for it

Agreed, they blew TWO chances to have a firefly mode here, and it would extra sweet to have a red one!

Seriously though, why not? There's no downside to putting it in as a hidden mode.
Love it! But price is steep. The c21c can be had for a fair bit cheaper and is basically the 18650 model of this. Here’s hoping we see some nice prices on this!
One thing I really like about this light is the way the battery lid is done. Instead of fragile aluminum threads that will eventually wear away the anodization, it relies on steel pegs that will probably work the same for a lifetime. The weatherstrip could be press fit instead of slip fit, but that requires a custom o-ring if the lid isn't round.
When I saw the light I was all like: “I like it, want one :)” but then I opened IS page and saw the price :Sp : “No thanks Sunwayman, you can keep it.” 
Interesting form factor and light. Nice to see something different.
When that is said, its not for me though..
I like the design. It is not something I would buy for myself, but I like that they are trying alternative designs. With the red LED, it reminds me of the XTAR H1.
I think I like it, could be a great glove box light, nice to see some alternative interpretations of a flashlight. Now we just need to forward this to Supbeam and see what happens…
Three years ago I started trying with LED flashlights.
Other formats have evolved, but 2xAA always been boring, all the same. Now the D20A is innovative in design, this is not a tube with 2 batteries, has 2 LED, clip, straight surfaces stable … It is interesting that people who do not use lithium, they can choose interesting options.
