Cheap 3xAAA light ($2.91) - maybe 1x18500 candidate?

I just bought one of these:

From this other auction, it looks like it’s a “Smiling Shark”:

and it has a TIR lens and a 3xAAA carrier, so I think an 18500 with a sleeve might work with this, to get a cheap 1x18500 light, and maybe turn it into a triple/3up?
