New Roche F12 clone for $7.35 at BG

Golden Roche F12 clone. Unbranded, unknown quality, modes not listed, ...

...but with XM-L emitter and only $7.35 (with code "blf")... so I decided to give it a try. :)

2000 lumens. Wow. There’s nothing like honest reporting of brightness … and this is nothing like honest reporting …

thats deals right there.

Yippee! Shipped already! (That was quick!!) :)

Looks like the one I got a while ago from WB.

here is a short review... nothing compared to a Roche ( I believe, because I dont own a Roche)

Hello for everybody! I’m new on that forum, I’m from Poland, and I love flashlights like you.

Now on the topic.
I have flashlight like in link, form ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/290964101420?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&\_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649, looks like the same like roche but quality is no like roche.
Pill is dieffrent, is screw in to body. Driver is somethink like DD, no current limitation, with charged battery is +3A in to LED.
Switch is non removable, and is low quality.

Plus of that flashlight is price, and easy to replace reflector for http://www.fasttech.com/products/1606/10002020/1144800-20mm-30-degree-optical-lens-for-cree-xml-t5-t6-u but nothing more.

Ah, easy to mount nanjg 105c with http://www.fasttech.com/products/1143102

Welcome to BLF. Apart from the 2,000 lumens, this one sounds like junk.

Personally, I don't like affiliate links, but check out reply #36 (sb56637's post) in this thread:

Saved for posterity.

Thanks for bringing this up once again.. Yes, there is a difference. :D

If you use the second one to buy a product, I will get a couple of cents worth of BG points. [If you just click it, I don't get anything]

You can think of that as a kind of reward for me for the time spent on disassembling the lights, taking photos, doing measurements, and writing the reviews (or just finding a good deal).

I can then use those points for buying new flashlights cheaper (or even for free!), which leads to me writing more reviews, telling my initial impressions, or sharing modding tips.

=> You will get more reviews to read - and probably get more value on your money (or avoid spending your money on worthless crap).

In short, as long as I (as a reviewer) can stay objective, everyone wins.

Please also note that, as my signature says, I use affiliate links only for items that I have bought, tested & approved. [Or what I, based on my experience / expertise, see as good deals or very potential new products = items which I will buy]

When you make one of your offensive or just plain trolling posts, it shows your childish, attention seeking nature. Deleting them afterwards doesn’t change the fact that you made them. It’s only further evidence that you are a troll… just kidding.

hmmm.

i see.

thanks for your attention then.

Got mine yesterday, bit different than the one linked in the review above. Threads were not anodized, machining seemed a bit better, heatsink compound under the LED, overall on OK light, worth the $7. Threads were bone dry, and I’m still not sure how the tail cap switch retainer is installed (press fit?) Tail cap readings were

2.4A High
1.2A Med
300ma Low

Like all 18650 tube lights driven this hard, gets really hot on high after just a few minutes. Some crappy pics.

Shiny and nice! I just saw the price, $9.73, discounted to $7.99. :open_mouth:

Just one more light, really … i won’t buy another one, until … tomorrow …

Still waiting for mine, but also fighting against the urge to buy a couple more.. $6.79 with coupon bgfmc

The anno looks like crap paint .I really dislike funky cheap hosts..

I wonder if it's as bad as it looks in these pics

everything else besides metal /threads and anno I can fix

Ugly goes straight to the bone
