Pay attention in what way? They’re easy targets, both child stars growing into adults. Bieber gets a lot of hatred for his feminine appearance and voice, possibly jealousy too as he rose to fame via YouTube.
I think ‘slut shaming’ has a lot to do with why people hate Cyrus, but there seems to be a great demand for role models to take responsibility for the influence they have on young people.
