How to make a panel with bare LEDs?

So I might be getting a very large number of cree xr LEDs for super cheap about $.04 each
So how would you connect a large number of these to a heatsink

1. Conductive pen then reflow
2. Conductive glue ” I’ve never seen this stuff only heard of it
3. Copper tape
4.
Thanks

What about a tub of this 3M Conductive-Polyurethane,

Copper tape over kapton (unless the heatsink is anodized). Works well for me.

nail polish over just the bottom contacts.jbweld as a thermal epoxy(dont laugh it works well)
make connections via top pads.works for rebels too just a bit fussy to solder to top pads.

What exactly are you wanting to do with those?

You can always get the 10mm sinkpads for XR-E/XP-G, then epoxy those stars to a larger heatsink…then wire the emitters together

I’d think shape and size would affect the decision.

I think you are right 10mm sinkpads are perfect option.

it would be perfect option, if sinkpad made stars for xr-e\c leds, but they do not, not in 10mm not in 20mm. and xr-() is seem like what op has.

i would solder them to copper bar\strip, xr-. have large heatpad. and you can short negative and heatpad, to make soldering easyer, in some cases, but not always, depends how you wire them and what you mount strip\bars to. or you can get xr-e\c stars, reflow leds on them, and make things a lot easyer.
