Hi guys,
i have a Pulsion 230L that came with pulsion CR123 battery.
i looked on ebay to purchase some battery and found some cheap ones that were rechargable.
I bought them and a charger and put these in my flashlight. I light it up and notice that the led were very bright and was turning blue.
So i turn it off and take a look at the battery.
The pulsion battery are 3V and the one i bought on ebay are 3.7V. It’s the first time i see battery with the same number having different voltage…
I guess i can’t use them in my flashlight?
The flashlight is still working but it looks less bright but i don’t know if it’s because my battery are getting low or if i damaged the led. May i have damage the led even if it still working?
Also searching on the forum i saw that rcr123 are recharble while cr123 are not. Mine are cr123 but was sold as rechargeable… (there is number16340 too)
Thank you!
I have a night scope that uses a cr123. I really didn’t want to have to deal with disposables so I ordered a couple of 16340’s. Here they sit, I hesitate on using them because i know they charge up to 4.2V.
I am considering a liFePO4 16340, 3V, but they charge up to 3.6V. I wonder if that would be too much also.
