Any trouble receiving Non-FastTech knife orders shipped through China Post recently?

The shipping issues through FastTech are pretty severe, but has anyone noted issues receiving knives shipped via China Post via other vendors?

I ordered a knife through Fasttech, and that order was returned as restrictive China Post shipping wouldn't allow knives.

I ordered a second knife through Fasttech, and that order was shipped via Sweden Post as a workaround, but has not yet been received.

I have placed numerous orders through DX and have been able to consistently track and receive orders EXCEPT for two orders containing knives.

On 11/5/13, I placed an order containing two ceramic kitchen knives, intended to be Christmas gifts. The order was updated as 'Shipped' on 11/13/13 with a tracking number provided, but I am still unable to track that number. On 11/12/13, I placed a second order for 4x small ceramic kitchen knives as Christmas stocking-stuffer items; that order was updated to 'Shipped' on 11/19/13, but also cannot be tracked.

I have placed several other orders NOT containing knives since those two orders, and those can be tracked, and several have been received, both with and without tracking included.

I've just submitted tickets via DX CS regarding these two orders, but am watching closely until the Paypal deadline.

Is the China Post knife-ban affecting your orders as well?

A seller told me they couldn’t ship a knife by airmail (China Post). ;_;

I normally upgrade to the USPS shipping from FT. No problems with that.

I did that, paying the extra 30 cents for the upgrade. They switched my shipment method over to the Sweden Post with this info:

I paid almost $1 more but normally when I upgrade to USPS it doesn’t go through Singapore. All my other orders when I click the tracking take me to the USPS web site from day one. I’ve never clicked on the tracking and seen Singapore. I wonder if they screwed it up or if this is a change in their shipping policies. All I know is the way they had it before was great. I was getting knives in about 2 weeks when I paid for the extra shipping…

I’ve got a few parcels waiting for me to collect them, I’ll post who the carrier was later in the week.

I am waiting 2 knives from fasttech, one big that was automaticaly sent way swiss post and other little that was sent by china post.
Still not arrived.

So I contacted DX on my two missing packages, both listed as 'Shipped' in mid-November. This morning, I received responses from DX with tracking information for both packages, with different tracking information. The numbers included had a 'SE' suffix indicating Sweden Post, but neither package shows up under the Sweden Post tracking. DX, however, included links to track via a "Directlinktrackedplus.com" which shows entries for both packages. Strange info though:

Both packages have unique tracking numbers and were shipped from DX on separate days (with alternate tracking info). Both packages on this site have identical departure dates and times, including a departure tomorrow morning?

My order from Exduct arrived fine, but from FastTech, it did NOT arrive.
I tried to contact FT, no answer.
Had to open a Paypal case, FT does not even reply.
I have bought a lot from them, but I think this may be the last time…

I collected my post today and included was a packet from Amazon seller zhangchunjing via China Post containing a Bee L01-1 so knives seem to be getting through on China Post.

Yes it’s Micarta although it’s very smooth, smoother than the EL-04MCT overall it’s a nice knife, blade is a bit off centre but I’ll be curing that. Usual great Enlan/Bee quality apart from that.
There is a black G-10 version as well the L01.

Myself ordered two knives from Fasstech one went through Singapore post with no tracking number and the second I paid the additional .29 cents for what I thought was USPS but today I got a notice it is going through a Swiss transport again with no tracking information available.

I ordered a package containing a couple knives. Waited almost 4 weeks to discover it had been ‘delivered’ except back to fast tech. That made me pretty angry. Now I am having the same issues with another knife order where my tracking isn’t working and I’m pretty pissed off. That package has my sunwayman v20c-y in it and I’ll be very upset if I have to wait another month to discover it got turned around.

My last two knife orders have had the carrier changed to Swedish Post, the two before that were Singapore post and the two before that Swiss post and Singapore post.

Two knives ordered the same day sent with Swiss post and Singarore post arrived the same day, about 17 days over the christmas madness, not bad at all.

China post, about a month but that was probably the vendor as it took 5-6 days to email me the tracking number.

The last two from FastTech that have been changed to Swedish post, one tracks through the PostNord link the other says the tracking number doesn’t exist despite it appearing on the photograph of the packet.

Yes, mine were changed to Swedish post too.

It’s only been a few days. We’ll see how it goes.

I have a decent sized order (about 8 items) coming to me...they shipped it Swedish Post uggh...most of my other items thru Singapore Post made it here but instead of the "usual" 14 days there are right at 30 days

I order ALOT of stuff from FT (vaping related) and due to the shipping snafu from late last year shipping has been horrendous and EVERYONE is complaining but FT is doing everything they can...people just need to be patient and quit bombarding them with tickets and stuff...once they ship it...it hits the black hole of international shipping

P.S. I got 4 packages today...was all like Vapemailapalooza! :D

I saw a notice posted that an “IT provider” to Sweeden Post had suffered a fire and it has disrupted the ability to track packages.

Yes I saw that while I was trying to track my orders, one tracks O.K. the other not.
