Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone was having slight issues with the site.
When I post a reply on a thread or a PM, the pages seems to be indefinitely loading, and after about half a minute, I click refresh, and it loads pretty much instantly.
Most of the times my reply is posted, but about 20% of the time, I need to type it all over again. That’s why I’ve learned to select all and Ctrl-C before I submit a post. 
We seem to be having some server problems. I’m currently working with the host to see what we can do. I am also seeing occasional hangups. Anybody else?

Yep. I frequently have to cancel my request and reload.
Since when? An approximate time would help me to identify possible sources of the slowdown. Thanks!
For the past four to five days, I have noticed that it is difficult to login or logout. Sometimes it will take up to 1-1/2 minutes or sometimes I have to refresh and try again. I notice it too in posting or trying to "mark all read". It just seems to hang and not complete the request. I would say that it started shortly after the last time you made changes to speed things up. It was fast for a day or two, but it has been getting slower and slower by the day.

Posting a response took 10 minutes yesterday.

On several occasions it was so slow that I went and did something else for a while

This is why I do this when I post on ANY WWWeb page:
As soon as I think I’m ready to Save or Preview, I Select All the text & Copy it to the Clipboard. I actually do a Cut-&-Paste to make sure I didn’t miss anything…
Then I hit the button. Both Preview and Save do the same thing you described, most of the time lately (past ~week).
I even got a double-post for my trouble one time. I deleted the 2nd one & the first stayed, so “I got that goin’ for me”
Welcome to the WWWeb. I have always recommended to friends and family and customers, if you’re doing stuff on the Internet, have something else to do!! I tried waiting this one out & it eventually did work… Eventually.

OL already nailed it. Not quite a week, probably, but getting close to it, I’d guess.
It’s blazing now! 
It’s slow to load for me, after this migration. 
It was working great for me at first. Now I just had it hang again and had to cancel and reload to get the page.
+1. The last 24 hours have been terrible.
BLF doesn’t work for me at all, refreshing doesn’t change anything. I need to use proxy site to access BLF.

It was killing me last night.
Sitting in a hotel room with nothing else to do, every time I tried to reply to a post endless hang time.
I blamed it on my Droid tablet, I was ready to toss it out the window. I pulled out my work iPad and that was a bit better, pulled off one successful reply.
I’m usually on my home PC when reading BLF, very few problems here. I don’t know if that would make any difference.
It took one reload on my droid for this reply.
