It's a nice little flashlight, would like to get one so I just thought to ask if (and how many) other people would be interested in obtaining this fl. maybe we could organise a group buy and drop the price to 35$ or (I hope) even lower! What do you think?

I know two females that could use this light since they won’t do rechargeable batteries, but would go nuts to own a great light.
The single cr123 battery format seems ideal for them, and I prefer Fenix quality.
Really like the design, but specs.

Specs for primary cr123a are ok, I like the design and I like to use cr123a.
the small metal clicky switch is cute
I have only 2 Fenix flashlight.
But quality is better than Nitecore, better than Xtar, better than Sunwayman…. I recognize that many people are not interested if the cr123a can not use rechargeable batteries. But there are good prices for primary batteries cr123a. As EDC (not for professional use) looks like a neat flashlight in many respects, also a good price for fenix.
why? is there something bad/you don’t like about this fl.!!!

How do group buys work?? I’m not going to participate, just interested. Who actually takes delivery of it / keeps it??
Like previously stated, if it would use a 16340 I’d be on it.
It all depends on “rules & conditions” of particular group buy
It’s like this:
someone contacts supplier and requests nice low price for interesting flashlight and then supplier say: no problem, I will give you low price but you have to find 10 or 30 or 50 … people that will buy this fl. If you managed to persuade needed number of people to buy particular fl. then you get lower price…
In most cases supplier will carry out the delivery of each payd flashlight to each customer separately, I pay to supplier, you pay to supplier, 25 other people pay to supp. and each of us have its own order but sometimes this can be handled differently, for example if some BLF member will do a modification on the particular flashlight, then, for everione that wants to get moded flashlight, supplier can send it to one person and after modification this person will organise delivery to each buyer…
P.S. this is not actually a group buy because BG give me a coupon code and everyone that is interested to get discount for Fenix PD12 can buy using this coupon code, no need to collect 10x people that wants to buy…

As per battery type: it is what it is, you can try to modify it but Fenix is not quite “modification ready or friendly”. There are still a lot of people that love to use 3V CR batteries and can get them cheaply… I would like for it to have integrated charger but then it wouldn’t be so small…
