FourSevens Atom CR123 Pics (Multi Pic Posting Tips)

Figured I would take a few quick phone pics and post since I hadn’t seen anyone else do so. Its also my first attempt at posting multiple pics in one post. Its on sale now for $36. They currently show free shipping inside the CONUS. So, not a bad deal for a light this size. Keep in mind it is mostly a flood light.

Looking down at the GITD “Reflector”

Unscrewed to insert battery

Looking down the barrel. Battery tube on right, Head on left.

Sitting on carpet, you can see the Flood Action. It is on High Mode

Its kinda hard to do beam shots, as there really is no “beam” per say. Thanks for viewing.

Nice pics.

Tho they are a bit large at 3264×2448. Usually people post smaller versions that link to the full size ones. If not you should at least put (image heavy) in the title for people on mobile phones.

I have one of these lights too and love it. Its brighter than I expected and the magnet comes in very handy. I’ve never seen such a wide beam from a LED light before. Awesome little light.

Help me here. I posted them as 50%. I thought they were small. lol How do you find the size like you did. That way I can check it going forward. And thanks for the “pic heavy” tip. I will do that for sure next time.

Click the right hand mouse button while the pointer is on the image, that will open a menu that lets you see the picture properties, this gives the image size as one of the items.
I keep the images to 800 pixels wide, this gives a good image, less grainy, and the pages load quicker for slow connections and phones.

When you upload an image to ImageShack it gives you the option to choose the size, you’ll use your storage space a lot slower if you choose the 800x600 option.

I use PhotoBucket and like it, well bits of it, but it’s whatever you’re used to.

Thanks for the hints. I am going to make note of it. I may even change the thread heading to include “Pic Posting tips”. Thanks guys. BTW, I am using ImageShack. I am used to other forums and they all seem a bit different. This is also the first time I have used the IS. So learning curve all around for me. I am sure other new folks to this forum can use the tips you guys listed. So, thanks alot!

It’s a LOT easier on slow connections to get less data and then click on the image for higher res when desired. For those with fast connections the extra click is a non-issue since the hi-res image comes up so fast.
