Not a new light. This was a popular light a couple years ago. It was affectionately called the ugly light by many divers.
I recently responded to the same kinda of light, but made by UltraFire (see SB post)
It's like they took a surface light and tried to quickly convert it to a dive light.
Why do I say this? Because it has a strike bezel. And no rear attachment point for a boltsnap. And the flashy modes (SOS, and Strobe)
My dive buddy still has his MagicShine/Novae dive lights, after about 3 years.
Unless they upped the amperage, the lumen output is not great compared to my other lights. Some I reviewed here.
Yep，it‘s a good light couple years ago，but now ，we don’t use it much！！
