YUPARD Super Bright 1800 Lumen XM-L T6 SHORT VIDEO REVIEW

YUPARD Super Bright 1800 Lumen XM-L T6

Here's a short video review.

The light stinks. Poor exterior finish, loose threads, dirty, oily, damaged reflector top edge, cheap glass lens, hollow under the star, star is not held down and rattles, no heat sinking at all, no mode memory and you have to cycle through all the modes to get to off, about 300-400 lumens on high. It does have an XM-L2 in it, about 7000k.

I bought two, I wish I had bought none...

EDIT:

Some Dimensions:

OAL: 102mm

Head OD: 42mm

Lens: 41mm x 2mm thick

Reflector: 38mm Dia, 23mm deep, 10mm hole

Star: 32mm x 1.5mm thick

Driver: 30.5mm Dia.

Driver Pocket: 17mm depth so there's some room for a heat sink below where the star is, depending on the driver used.

Aw :frowning:

I was really interested in this one.

Thanks for the review .

As disappointed as I'm sure you must be , I know that you will find a way to improve this light .

I was/am also interested in this unusual light. Great form factor! XM-L2. Pocketable. Shows GREAT PROMISE to you modders! Mod em and offer em up! Never seen any offering like this before … wondering why not? Reasons

That bad huh..

At least you made a very entertaining video review. :)

Never buy two of the same lights unless you know its good. Its in the unofficial BLF Buying Cheap Lights from China guide..

Because by the time a new driver is bought and installed, and by the time a new pill is fabricated for the star to sit on, why not just buy a real Fandyfire Queen, be saved all that trouble, and you get an unusual color, better finish, decent lanyard out of it.

Thanks for another honest review OL.
Whoopy orings.
Gaping hole.
Cant be shut of.
Stinks.
Upsetting.
Wow. Are we talking about a flashlight here or my w__e? :~

LOL!

Standup comedy

My thought as well. Better off with a Queen and just put an XM-L2 in it.

Similar form factor to a FandyFire K2 but I like the single 26650 better, love my K2 - nice quality, decent driver, 1,200 lumens OTF @30 secs, after the mods of course . Not sure why the K2 hasn't gotten much notice. The K2 is pricier but real AR lens and real SS bezel, exc. finish, nice threads.

Added some dimensions to the OP.

What a piece o’ crap.

And you gotta see this! I just took the tail caps off last night. Had to heat them, as they were glued on.

WOOD SCREWS! There is absolutely no excuse for wood screws. No excuse for the whole light ever being made or sold!

Major rework for these two!

^ When you though it could not get worse...

Im almost starting to feel guilty from starting the thread about the light... (I have now edited OP and put in a warning in that thread)

At least I have watched your video review twice! Love it.. :) Puts a smile on my face every time.. :D

No wonder those screws wooden work. At least the soldering looks good. A lot better than mine.

Hmm, I was considering a Yupard dive light as a pressie for a mate, probably should rethink that. A dud model is one thing, but this is sketchy. sigh, back to the forums and more reading.

Those screws are ‘hellacool’

Yeah yeah, OK, Im leaving.

I bought two, I wish I had bought none…

LOL

What is the diameter/depth of the reflector

Would this work if a spacer had to be made and pressed in on that shelf?

Interesting little light but very lousy implimentation…and I HATE those round robin epileptic seizure modes you have to go thru to turn it off.

Thanks for the review…will avoid these even though they are small can size lights

I have been less than impressed with these Yupard lights.

You don’t seem to be the kind of person to back away from a challenge so I’m sure you can turn these 2 piles of junk into something to be proud of if you so choose.
